PDF Datasheet | Request Info

Applications:

  • Official government testing

  • R&D by illumination manufacturers

  • Repair and maintenance in factories, offices, and hospitals

  • Quality control by manufacturers of domestic light sources

  • Examination of building-related light sources

  • Illuminance control in agriculture and forestry

The ideal situation for the measurement of illuminance is that the relative spectral response characteristic of the illuminance receptor be in perfect alignment with the sensitivity of the human eye as represented by V(?), the standard illumination sensitivity curve. The degree of deviation from V(?) is used by JIS to determine the grade of illuminance meters, and the relative spectral response characteristic of the T-10P corresponds to the JIS precision grade. Similarly, both the T-10 and T-10M are graded as standard AA by these specifications.

As the brightness of the specimen surface is proportional to the cosine of the incident light, the response of an illumination meter’s receptor to must also be proportional to the cosine of the incident light. This JIS E-13 certified measurement device is ideal for all types of illuminance measurements (between 0.01 and 299,900 lx).
