T-10M Illuminance Meter (for small-surface illuminance measurements)

PDF Datasheet | Request Info

Features & Benefits:

  • Ideal for illuminance measurements of small specimens not supported by the
standard T-10 receptor. (Receptor surface has a 14mm measurement diameter.)

  • User-friendly and compact palm-top design.

  • In addition to illuminance measurements, the T-10M also supports measurement of illuminance difference and integrated illuminance.

Applications:

  • Maintenance of illumination in factories, offices, and hospitals

  • Optical testing in schools and laboratories.

  • Quality control of light bulbs, fluorescent tubes, and other light sources.

  • Control of illuminance in agriculture and forestry industry.

The ideal situation for the measurement of illuminance is that the relative spectral response characteristic of the illuminance receptor be in perfect alignment with the sensitivity of the human eye as represented by V(?), the standard illumination sensitivity curve. The degree of deviation from V(?) is used by JIS to determine the grade of illuminance meters, and the relative spectral response characteristic of the T-10P corresponds to the JIS precision grade. Similarly, both the T-10 and T-10M are graded as standard AA by these specifications.

As the brightness of the specimen surface is proportional to the cosine of the incident light, the response of an illumination meter’s receptor to must also be proportional to the cosine of the incident light. This JIS E-13 certified measurement device is ideal for all types of illuminance measurements (between 0.01 and 299,900 lx).
