The EP2 position sensor provides the same performance and reliability Temposonics® users have come to expect in a small, robust package, and price that is ideal for machine control and factory automation designers.

Each sensor is equipped with a waveguide sensing element, conditioning electronics for output position data, a protective metal application housing and an external position magnet. The entire sensor may be mounted to the machine by way of standard mounting feet and screws. The free-floating magnet is affixed to the moving machine part to provide exact position.
