The Sentinel™ ultrasonic flowmeter is specially designed for high accuracy gas flow measurement. Sentinel™ is designed for natural gas applications such as custody transfer, transmission and distribution, pipeline balancing, compressor station metering or any gas application where high accuracy is required.

Sentinel™ is available in pipe sizes ranging from six to 24 inches and meets AGA9 criteria. The system employs a two diametrical-path, single-traverse meter body design with a ten diameter upstream pipe run and a flow conditioning plate. This configuration provides sufficient flow conditioning to handle any upstream flow disturbance and provide a well-known flow profile at the meter body. Advanced ultrasonic transducer technology combined signal processing optimized for speed and robustness, provide the capability of the system to operate even in air at atmospheric pressure, which is important for field verification of the meter system during commissioning.
