Microprocessor-based Transmitter
The XMTC thermal conductivity gas analyser provides sensitive, accurate, online gas-composition analysis based on the thermal conductivity of gases in a mixture. It uses two ultra-stable precision thermistors: one in contact with the sample gas and one in contact with a sealed or flowing reference gas. Since it has no moving parts, the transmitter can handle shock and vibration. Its unique design makes it insensitive to contamination and sample flow rate variation.

XMTC can be field calibrated or, due to its modular construction, the plug-in measuring cell can be quickly replaced with a pre-calibrated spare. For optimal installation, the XMTC features split construction. This allows the transmitter to be located up to 1,200 feet (366 m) from the display, connected via an inexpensive, unshielded cable.
