RFM390 special adaptations and modifications can often be accommodated to meet particular customer requirements.
When hardware or software changes are made to an RFM300 model, the instrument is coded as 'RFM390'.

Examples of RFM390s are as follows:

• RFM390 for resins and adhesives.

• Short range/high precision calibration (possibly at a particular temperature) - edible oil applications.

• Sensor fitted to presser arm to ensure presser is in lowered position prior to measurement

• Kalrez gasket material fitted for applications where solvents are aggressive towards silicon seals

• Special flowcells fitted for use with hazardous materials

• Special instrument software packages (product profiles, offsets, citric acid correction etc.)

Order codes, prices and specifications vary depending on which RFM300 Refractometer is adapted to form the RFM390; as well as any other components added as part of the system.
