A set of equipment ideal for sample preparation for plastic materials to undergo Stress Cracking at various temperatures.
The set includes a micrometer and head for measuring the depth of crack of the specimen with a precision of 0.01 mm.
Special thermostatic baths with sample containers are also available.
Meets ASTM and other similar standards.

This apparatus is designed to notch and bend specimens of defined shape and size. This notching, to dimensions and tolerances as referred by Standards is made along the longitudinal axis of the specimen in order to allow initiation of “Stress Crack” and “Fissure” due to internal stresses.
