Features & Benefits

  • Designed to determine the electrical surface resistance and volume resistance of dielectric polymers under defined voltage.

  • Working range: from 1010 to 2 x 1016 O.

  • Interchangeable electrodes are available according to specific test standards.

  • Optional: thermostatic chamber for measurements at constant, defined, temperature.

  • Meets ASTM, DIN, UNI, CEI and other similar standards.

Applications:

  • Testing of insulating oils

  • Dielectric materials (polymers - paper etc. etc.)

  • Determining leak resistance of cables

  • Testing of capacitors and valves and other equivalents

The Teraohmmeter covers direct-current tests for determination of a dc insulation resistance, volume resistance, volume resistivity, surface resistance, and surface resistivity of electrical insulating materials, or the corresponding conductances and conductivities. The CEAST Teraohmmeter measures the volume and/or surface resistance between 0.01 T􀀀 and 20.000 T􀀀 at predetermined voltage of 10 -100 - 500 - 1000 V.
