ESATEST MTR Bench Hardness Tester

PDF Datasheet | Request Info

Features & Benefits

  • New-patented principle of hardness determination, which measures the electrical resistance

  • Light load (progressive from 9.8 to 98 N - 1 to 10 kp)

  • For testing in Vickers scale, with automatic conversion in other scales

  • For testing of hard to access areas, such as interiors, gear evolvents, irregular shapes, etc.

Applications

  • Motorized hardness tester with progressive load application. With one test the different hardness values conforming with the whole range of applied loads can be observed.

  • Suitable for testing large and small specimen, irregular shapes, interiors, gears. Can work in any orientation.

ESATEST MTR Hardness Tester is a result of more than forty years of experience and continuing research for new technological solutions to solve problems in hardness testing of metals. It is a new hardness tester that measures the electric resistance.

ESATEST has been designed in order to solve previously unresolved problems in hardness testing. Particularly testing in places that were inaccessible until now. Thanks to a new system of impression reading (patented method) we have been able to find a solution that allowed us to reach this target. With ESATEST neither optical reading of the impression nor measuring of penetration depth is needed, hence testing in all positions with minimum difficulty and without special stability.

Reading on the display in Vickers and Rockwell C, other scales on request. Thanks to the fact that with ESATEST load is applied progressively, with one test the different hardness values conforming to the whole range of applied loads can be observed. This solution is very useful for testing of superficially treated specimens; allows in fact a quick evaluation of the depth of the superficial treatment and possible rectification of ground parts.
