Applications

TWIN is the most suitable hardness tester for testing in line the Rockwell hardness. The tester can be integrated with automatic roller conveyors for moving the test parts. This system has been designed for testing in line of components of different dimensions. The parts are placed on plastic supports, moved into test position, clamped by a pneumatic system and then tested. ERNST hardness testers are insensitive to any deflection of the test part; it is sufficient to prepare the test surface. The electronics is the same as the TWIN standard.
