IPT2 4-Beam Turbidimeter IPT

The turbidimeter IPT monitors very weak to middle turbidity values according to the Formazin standard [TE/F]. Or it shows turbiditity units [EBC]. The device uses the 4-beam-alternating-light method according to DIN 38404 / ISO 7027.

Because of this method soilings of the optical elements, external parasitic light and drifts of electrical components will be compensated reliably. The electronic circuitry in conjunction with the mechanical fitting forms a robust compact device, that can be incorporated in a new or an existing plant with no problem.

The connection to process is already made according to the new hygienic norm (DIN 11864) of pipe screw system. Because of this highest hygienic requirements are fullfilled. But weld connections and diary flanges (DIN11851) are available as well.

The adaption of the measurement range of the turbidity meter is possible by means of a rotary switch or digital inputs (24VDC). Because of this a high accuracy over the whole turbidity range from 0,01...5 TE/F to 0,01...1000TE/F is reached.

The analogue 4-20mA output signal makes possible the connection of various evaluation devices like digital indicators, alarm relays or a PLC.
