For aircraft leak testing of Pitot Static systems the DPI 610 Aero Version provides a low cost but flexible test instrument. Configured as a single channel unit for testing either altitude or airspeed parameters it provides manual pressure generation and venting facilities. Scaling is provided in aero units for both altitude and airspeed and functions such as leak test and switch tests are addressed directly. Accuracy of the pressure measurement is ±0.025% FS and this translates to a precision of 0.5 mbar (0.015" Hg) on the installed 0 to 2 bar absolute (60 inHg) sensor.
