480E09 Battery-Powered Sensor Signal Conditioner

 PDF Datasheet | Request Info

  • The Model 480E09 Battery-Powered ICP® Sensor Signal Conditioner provides a portable, compact means for powering sensors with built-in microelectronics or in-line charge converters. Operating from NiCad or alkaline 9V batteries (3 each), it supplies a 27 VDC, regulated 2 mA constant-current voltage excitation.

  • A built-in coupling capacitor eliminates the sensor's bias voltage to provide a zero-based, AC coupled output signal. A self-test, color-coded meter monitors sensor operation and detects cable faults. Model 480E09 features adjustable gain of x1, x10, and x100 and BNC input/output jacks. A DC jack permits extended operation from an optional converter, while the recharge port permits the use of NiCad batteries. Lower current draw prolongs battery life. This product is CE marked according to applicable European Directives.
