PCB Dynamic Pressure Sensors

103A & 106B High Sensitivity ICP® Sensors

  Request Info

  • Developed by a leading aeronautical research laboratory, the 103A has played a major role in the development of rockets, supersonic bombers and modern weapon systems. This tiny instrument measure transient events, turbulence, and other such acoustic phenomena on structures and aerodynamic models. The 103A is acceleration compensated, has a 2 psi dynamic range, a 1500 mV/psi sensitivity and a rise time of less than one hundred microseconds.

  • Model 106B is a high sensitivity, acceleration compensated ICP® quartz pressure sensor suitable for measuring low pressure acoustic phenomena in hydraulic and pneumatic systems. It has the unique capability to measure small pressure changes of less than 0.001 psi under high static conditions. The 106B has a 300 mV/psi sensitivity and a resolution of 91 dB (0.0001 psi). PCB and its Modal Shop Division, offer a wide range of microphone and pressure sensors for acoustic, turbulence and high intensity sound measurements in a wide variety of laboratory, field and flight applications.
