PCB Dynamic Pressure Sensors

113A21 & 102A Shock Wave / Blast ICP® Pressure Sensors

  Request Info

  • PCB offers a complete line of ultra-high frequency pressure sensors with quartz, ceramic and tourmaline sensing elements for a wide variety shock wave, blast and explosive testing. Typical applications include measurement of shock and blast waves, combustion, detonation and explosions in closed bombs; projectile velocity; free field and underwater explosive testing

  • Featured here are the 113A21 and 102A sensors that offer 500 kHz nonresonant output when subjected to instantaneous, reflected (face-on) shock wave inputs. They are structured with acceleration compensated quartz elements, are frequency-tailored and have integral microelectronics. The 113A21 has a 200 psi dynamic range, 25 mV/psi sensitivity and a probe design for use in applications where minimum sensor diameter is required. The 102A is a 1 mV/psi sensor in and off-ground 3/8-24 threaded housing that offers ease of mounting port preparation.
