Davidson Measurement Strain Gauge Workshops

Two Day Strain Gauge & Instrumentation Workshop
*Please note- dates and venues for the 2008 schedule of the workshops are at the bottom of this page.
The object of this workshop is to provide practical training in the application of strain gauges and theoretical data to achieve improved results and correct analysis.
In this comprehensive, hands-on Strain Gauge Technology Workshop, participants make a complete strain gauge installation including electrical connection, check-out, and environmental protection; and use appropriate read-out instrumentation to verify results of their own installation.
A wide range of strain measuring devices is described in detail, guidelines for proper instrumentation selection and usage are thoroughly reviewed. Participants have an opportunity to examine and familiarize themselves with all instruments on display. In the instrumentation portion of the program, some electrical circuitry is discussed. Familiarity with Ohm's Law series and parallel circuits and the Wheatstone bridge is helpful.
To express your interest phone 1300-SENSOR (736 767) for a registration form.
