Model 353C16 Miniature High-Frequency Quartz ICP® Accelerometer

  PDF Datasheet | Request Info

  • This high-precision, lightweight accelerometer utilizes a quartz shear-sensing element to provide repeatable and reliable vibration measurements. The shear-mode sensing element offers reduced sensitivity to thermal transients and base strain. The sensor's small size allows installation in confined or space-restricted areas. A lightweight titanium housing and miniature sensing element minimize effects of mass loading of the test structure. The mass of this accelerometer is 0.05 oz (1,5 gm).

  • It features a top-exit 5-44 coaxial connector. This unit is ideal for measuring higher frequency vibrations as well as for use in various shock applications. Its sensitivity of 10 mV/g and wide frequency range of 1 to 10 000 Hz (± 5%) suits most applications, such as noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), drop testing, gear mesh, and other general purpose vibration measurements.
