Tailored frequency ranges, with on-board filtering, minimize the potential for high frequency saturation problems HALT, or Highly Accelerated Life Testing, exposes prototype and beta version products to severe thermal and vibration stress cycles in an effort to determine their mean time to failure and precipitate and detect design and manufacturing problems.

HASS, or Highly Accelerated Stress Screening, is a product specific process, which exposes production run items to thermal and vibration stress cycles in an effort to precipitate and detect latent manufacturing defects and component problems. This leads to a reduction of infant mortality and an increase of out-of-the-box quality and field reliability.

PCB’s accelerometers for HALT and HASS have been specifically designed and tested to endure the rigors of extreme and rapid thermal cycling and high amplitude vibration testing. Choose from charge mode or ICP types in a variety of temperature and frequency ranges to suit the specific requirement.

  • High Temperature Charge Mode Kit model 300A12

  • High Temperature, Quartz Shear ICP model 320C20

  • Ceramic Shear ICP model 352B30

Accelerometers for HALT, HASS, and ESS are specifically designed and tested to endure extreme thermal and vibration cycle testing:

  • Survive extreme temperature limits and rapid thermal cycling

  • Survive extreme, random vibration levels

  • High performance, shear mode designs

  • Charge mode and ICP® types
