Davidson's VMU-3 vibration monitoring unit gives you high level protection for rotating plant and machinery at a very affordable price.
-
Engines, pumps, gear boxes, turbines, conveyors and similar rotating equipment are protected continuously when linked to a Davidson VMU-3 vibration monitoring unit. Instantaneous information on your DCS screen lets you make informed decisions as to what action to take, if any.
-
Continuos monitoring gives twenty four hour protection and because the VMU-3 is field rangeable you can adjust it to accommodate different vibration levels for different types of equipment.
-
Dual adjustable trip outlets for alarm conditions allow you to set alarm or trip or separate alarms and you can select velocity or displacement outputs.
-
The acceleration signal is accessible for use with a data collector or analyser and 4-20mA output signals allow you to see instantly on your DCS screen the level of vibration of the monitored equipment. The VMU-3 can be installed in exposed situations as it has an IP65 rated housing for protection against dust, water spray and rain.
