The MDA100CA sensor and data acquisition board has a precision thermistor, a light sensor/photocell and general prototyping area. Designed for use with MICAz and MICA2 wireless modules, the prototyping area supports connection to all 51 pins on the expansion connector, and provides an additional 42 unconnected solder points for bread-boarding.

With its multifunction direct user interface, the MDA300CA offers a convenient and flexible solution to those sensor modalities commonly found areas such as environmental and habitat monitoring as well as many other custom sensing applications. Compatible with the MICAz and MICA2 wireless modules.

MDA320

The MDA320CA is a high performance data acquisition board with up to 8 channels of 16-bit analogue input. It combines a reduced feature set with the same versatile functionality found in Crossbow’s popular MDA300 data acquisition board. This board is designed for use in cost-sensitive applications requiring precision data collection and analysis. MICAz and MICA2 compatible with the MoteView driver support.

Crossbow provides a broad variety of sensor boards and data acquisition cards that connect to our wireless modules and provide for both direct sensing connectivity as well as external sensor capabilities. All MICA and IRIS family sensor boards from Crossbow are supported with drivers in the MoteWorks Software Platform. The ITS sensor board interfaces directly with our Imote2 platform with system software available from open source.

The sensor boards, combined with a wireless module, provide an out-of-the-box wireless sensor network for rapid prototyping, application development and deployments. Sensing capabilities include: ambient light, barometric pressure, GPS, magnetic field, sound, photo-sensitive light, photo resistor, humidity and temperature A convenient overview and comparison of the capabilities provided with each sensor board or data acquisition card is provided in the product reference guide.
